
Barn Rules + Facility Policies

To ensure the safety, respect, and well-being of all people and horses on the property, the following rules must be followed by all boarders, lessees, students, visitors, and guests.
These rules are non-negotiable and may be updated at the discretion of barn management.
Hours of operation are 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Access outside of these hours is not permitted without prior approval.

Release of Liability: All visitors and clients must have a current, signed release of liability on file before entering the facility or handling horses.

Helmets: Helmets are required for all riders under the age of 18 while mounted.

Outside Trainers + Riders: All outside trainers and riders must have prior authorization from barn management. They must carry their own liability insurance and may only use the arena during pre-approved times.

Haul-in Riders: No outside haul-in riders are allowed unless specifically approved by barn management.

Dogs: No dogs are allowed on the premises unless approved in advance by barn management.

Prohibited Items/Substances: There is no smoking, no alcohol, and no glass allowed anywhere on the property.

Children: Children must be supervised by an adult at all times. Running, yelling, and climbing on fences or gates is not permitted.

Tied Horses: Horses may not be tied and left unsupervised at any time.

Turnout: Halters must be removed from horses before turnout.

Arena Use: Arena space is shared. Be courteous, take turns, and maintain awareness of others. Respect any posted arena schedules or shared Google calendars, and yield to lessons or therapy sessions. Shared space not accessible during therapy sessions.

Clean-Up Expectations: Everyone is responsible for cleaning up after themselves, including in grooming areas, wash racks, arenas, and other shared spaces.

Equipment Use: Do not use anyone else’s tack, grooming supplies, fly spray, or feed without explicit permission.

Horse Handling: Do not feed, handle, or interact with any horse that is not your own without the owner’s or staff’s permission.

Gates + Stall Doors: All gates and stall doors must remain closed and latched at all times.

Facility Etiquette: Do not sit, lean, or climb on fences. Turn off lights and water after use.

Emergency Situations: If a horse appears injured, sick, or distressed, notify barn staff immediately.

Respect for Services: Do not interrupt or interfere with lessons, therapy sessions, or clinics. Please give space and maintain a quiet, respectful environment during scheduled services.

Policy Enforcement: Violation of these rules may result in warnings, suspension of privileges, or removal from the premises at the discretion of barn management.
